Customer Service and Office Assistant (Spanish-Speaking)

 

Janitorial and Paper Supply Distributor in West Oakland

Duties may include but not limited to:
• Answers majority of incoming calls
• Uses intercom and phone system to route calls to personnel
• Takes orders by phone and inputs information into computer using industry
software
• Confers with sales, warehouse and purchasing to expedite or trace missing or
delayed shipments and special orders.
• Opens and routes incoming mail
• Assists sales personnel with quotes and research on products
• Assists with correspondence, spreadsheets and marketing projects as needed
using Microsoft Office
• Helps Customers in Showroom determine product needs, suggest new products and
enters orders into the computer.
• Orders office supplies as needed.
• Assists accounting with clerical duties, data entry and some collections and
daily banking deposits
• Phones customers when special orders arrive
• Stocks Showroom and creates displays
• Bilingual in Spanish and English written and oral required!
• Prefer an East Bay resident

Candidate must be a multitasking wiz! Is able to work under pressure with an
exceptional attitude! He or she can redirect priorities on the fly and have a
sense of humor! This position is long term with the possibility of advancement
within the growing company. Fun, Casual office environment with Professional
attitude required.

Position is Full Time Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
Hourly position $16-18 D.O.E.
